The Hurun Research Institute released the Global Unicorn Index 2024 on April 9. The list includes five companies based in Changsha: Sany, Snack Busy, CNGR Advanced Materials, CiDi, and Wenheyou.

This index is a list of non-listed companies founded after 2000 with a value of over $1 billion. According to the list, there are 1,453 such companies in the world with a total value of $4.6 trillion.
