The main piers No. 50 and No. 51 of the Xinglian Road Grand Channel Project completed installation of 30 and 26 sections of steel beams and 26 and 22 pairs of stay cables, respectively. So far, 98.6% of the approach bridge in the west of the Xiangjiang River and 96.8% of the approach bridge in the river's east have been finished. The project is scheduled to complete main structure construction and be ready for traffic by the end of 2024.

記者近日獲悉,，興聯(lián)路大通道項目50號、51號主墩已分別完成30段,、26段鋼梁架設及26對,、22對斜拉索掛設施工。河西引橋已完成98.6%,，河東引橋已完成96.8%,，項目預計年底主體工程全部完工，具備通車條件,。

The project was invested by the Changsha Communications Investment Holding Group and undertaken by the CCCC First Highway Engineering Group. The project covers Wangcheng and Kaifu Districts, starting from the west of Yinshan Road and ending at the west of Beijing-Guangzhou Railway Bridge. The project has a total length of 5.475 kilometers, including a 4.96-km main bridge. The main bridge across the Xiangjiang River is a twin-tower cable-stayed bridge with a main span of 380 meters. It is the longest and widest river-crossing bridge with the largest single span under construction in Changsha.

The Xinglian Road Grand Channel Project is an east-west fast channel in the northern urban areas of Changsha. The project stretches from the Changsha-Yiyang Expressway expansion section in the west to the west of Beijing-Guangzhou Railway Bridge in the east. It can also connect the Zhongqing Road in Kaifu District, and lead directly to the Songya Lake area in Changsha County. Upon completion, the project will help improve the regional road network, ease traffic pressure on the North 2nd Ring Road, and serve as a vital access for residents from Yiyang, Changde, and other areas to the provincial capital of Changsha.

興聯(lián)路大通道是長沙北部城區(qū)一條橫貫東西的快捷通道,，向西對接長益復線高速公路，向東直達京廣鐵路橋西,，并可達中青路,，還能直達長沙縣松雅湖片區(qū)。該項目建成后將有助于完善區(qū)域路網(wǎng)結(jié)構(gòu),，緩解長沙北二環(huán)交通壓力,，同時也將成為益陽、常德等地連通省會長沙的重要通道之一,。
