Changsha's import and export value reached 160.31 billion CNY in the first seven months of 2024, and its year-on-year growth rate was 5.2 percentage points higher than the province's growth rate, according to statistics released by the Xingsha Customs Authority on August 21. The city's imports and exports have recorded double-digit growth for three consecutive months.

8月21日,，星沙海關發(fā)布的統(tǒng)計數(shù)據(jù)顯示，2024年前7個月，長沙市進出口1603.1億元，增速（同比，下同）高于全省增速5.2個百分點,。進出口已連續(xù)3個月實現(xiàn)2位數(shù)增長。

From January to July this year, the number of Changsha's production-oriented enterprises with actual performance reached 713, an increase of 103 over the same period last year. Imports and exports by these enterprises rose 13.3% year on year to 46.6 billion CNY, accounting for 29.1% of the city's total value of foreign trade, which is an increase of 5.5 percentage points from last year.

今年前7個月,，長沙有實績的生產型企業(yè)713家,，比去年同期增加103家，實現(xiàn)進出口466億元,，增長13.3%,，占外貿總值的比重由去年同期的23.6%上升到29.1%，提高5.5個百分點,。

Changsha's construction machinery industry cluster has obvious driving effect. The export value of construction machinery reached 18 billion CNY, up 30.3%. Construction machinery enterprises including Zoomlion, Sany, Sunward, and Sinoboom saw their exported products sell well in 161 countries, with the exports to Saudi Arabia, the Netherlands, and Brazil soaring by 172.5% on average.

The global low-carbon transformation is accelerating, which leads to a rapid export growth of the "new three" products—electric vehicles, lithium-ion batteries, and photovoltaic products. Exports of the "new three" products grew 85.9% year on year to 5.13 billion CNY. In particular, the export value of electric vehicles amounted to 3.4 billion CNY, surging 219.8%; and that of lithium-ion batteries was 1.4 billion CNY, an increase of 37.1%.

Since the beginning of this year, Changsha's imports of electronic information intermediates, bulk commodities, and agricultural products have further expanded. The increasing domestic consumption demand has further incorporated Changsha-made products into the global value chain. In the first seven months, the city imported 13.55 billion CNY and 3.77 billion CNY of integrated circuits and automatic data processing equipment parts, an increase of 14.9% and 44.8 times respectively.
