"Changsha-based electronic products and construction materials are very popular in Africa," Xiao Mi said. She had previously established a network of 32 stores selling Chinese products in Madagascar, importing daily goods, electronics, clothing, and small agricultural machinery, and exporting cloves and vanilla pods from Africa to China, with a cumulative trade volume of 1 million dollars.

Through her husband' s introduction, Xiao Mi learned that starting a business in Changsha was highly promising.
