Liu has donated 115,300 millimeters of blood over the past 24 years, which is equivalent to the blood of 26 adults.

在過去的24年里，劉海沙累計(jì)獻(xiàn)血量達(dá)115300毫升,，按照正常血量計(jì)算,，相當(dāng)于26名成年人血量的總和。

Under the law, people aged 18 to 55 are eligible for blood donation, and healthy people who have donated blood multiple times without side effects can continue until 60.

根據(jù)相關(guān)規(guī)定,，18歲至55歲的公民可以進(jìn)行獻(xiàn)血,，而身體健康且多次獻(xiàn)血無副作用的人可以繼續(xù)獻(xiàn)血至60歲。

Liu made his last donation at Changsha Blood Center on Friday, where center staff celebrated his birthday with him.

12月6日,，劉海沙來到長(zhǎng)沙血液中心進(jìn)行最后一次獻(xiàn)血，當(dāng)天工作人員還一起為其慶生,。

Liu said he is reluctant to "retire" from blood donation and wants to become a volunteer at the center.

劉海沙表示,，他其實(shí)不愿“退休”，還想繼續(xù)成為血液中心的一名志愿者,。

He was inspired to donate blood when his mother and grandmother donated blood to save fellow villagers many times when he was little.

劉海沙回憶,，堅(jiān)持無償獻(xiàn)血的原因是受到奶奶和媽媽的影響，她們數(shù)次在村民急需用血時(shí)積極捐獻(xiàn),。

Liu's wife, son and daughter-in-law have all become regular blood donors.

在劉海沙的影響下,，他的妻子、兒子和兒媳都成為了固定獻(xiàn)血者,。

Zhang Huiping, who works at the Changsha Blood Center, said Liu has become a dear friend of the center and an example for their young employees.
