Jointly developed by the China Railway Construction Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. (CRCHI) and China 15th Metallurgical Construction Group Co., Ltd., the tunnel boring machine rolled off the production line in Changsha, central China's Hunan Province on Dec. 18(Wednesday). It is about 130 meters long and approximately 800 tonnes in weight, with an excavation diameter of 5.63 meters. It will be exported to Zambia to construct the mining tunnel at the southeast part of the Chambishi Mine, marking the first export of Chinese mining tunnel boring machines to Africa.

12月18日，一臺(tái)由中國鐵建重工集團(tuán)、中國十五冶金建設(shè)集團(tuán)聯(lián)合打造的礦用掘進(jìn)機(jī)在湖南長沙下線。該臺(tái)掘進(jìn)機(jī)長約130米，重約800噸,，開挖直徑達(dá)5.63米。該設(shè)備將出口至贊比亞并參與當(dāng)?shù)刂t比希東南礦體巷道工程建設(shè),，這是中國礦用掘進(jìn)機(jī)首次出口非洲,。
