The list of "Best Tourism Villages" for 2024 was recently announced at the 122nd session of the Executive Council of the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) in Colombia. Seven villages in China have earned a coveted spot on the list. Thus, China stands out as the country with the most candidates. Among them, the Shibadong Village in Hunan has made it on the list.

近日,，在哥倫比亞舉行的聯(lián)合國旅游組織執(zhí)行委員會(huì)第122次會(huì)議上，公布了2024年“最佳旅游鄉(xiāng)村”名單,，我國共有7個(gè)鄉(xiāng)村入選,，是本屆入選鄉(xiāng)村最多的國家。其中,，我省十八洞村榜上有名,。

Shibadong Village is located in Huayuan County, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hunan Province. In 2013, the concept of targeted poverty alleviation was first introduced in Shibadong Village and subsequently implemented nationwide. Now the village serves as a window to observe the development of Chinese-style modern villages.
